In Search of Tassi Springs...

Saturday Paul and I spent most of the day in search of Tassi Springs out on the Arizona Strip. To get there you go to Mesquite, Nevada, and then out by Whitney Pockets and past The Devils' Throat, then into Arizona. You can see Lake Mead and we got almost down to Grand Gulch Bay on one of our many detours. Unfortunately, we never made it to Tassi Springs. We found dried up Whitney Springs and saw some beautiful desert flowers and a jack rabbit. We enjoyed the time together and the scenery, but the finding of Tassi Springs will have to take place on another day with a better map than we had this time! Maybe Lance can get us some better directions from Google Earth. We found a nice picture of an old building that's out there, but were unable to find a satisfactory map we thought we could use to navigate by. Another day, another 'edventure'.
