A Blue and Gold February

Had a really fun month visiting all of the Blue and Gold banquets of the packs in our stake last month.  Every one was different and every one was great!  Love seeing these dedicated leaders do a great job and seeing the boys so proud of earning their awards.  It takes some great people to make Cub Scouting happen!  Wild and noisy little boys aren't everyone's favorite to work with, but the pay offs are worth the effort when you see them learning things that will help to make them better people all of their lives.

One of my favorite things was the wanted posters that one pack did.  The boys were "wanted" for living points of the Scout Law.  They each got to take their big poster and the small table decoration poster home with them.  In one ward each den had to come up with a Haka dance.  One den did the Scout Law.  It was awesome...too bad my camera died before then.

Congrats to Brady - Arrow of Light

It was so nice to attend Brady's Arrow of Light/Blue and Gold Banquet!  Lou is the cub master and she and her staff did an amazing job of making a fun and tasty evening to celebrate Scouting and their boy's advancements!  Brady has worked hard and enjoyed his Cub Scout years with the full support of his parents.  He also got the Cub Scout of the year award in his Scout district. We're proud of you Brady!
