Business + Pleasure Trip = amazing scenery!

Once again we were able to combine business and pleasure to have a little vacation. Paul and I left on Monday evening for a trip over to Dove Creek, Colorado, to pick up some stone we need for a job were are doing. We got as far as Page that evening and then headed on the next day via Monument Valley and Natural Bridges National Monument. We just couldn't resist stopping in at Natural Bridges and drove their 9-mile loop to see the amazing bridges. We stopped at each view point to take pictures and walked down to the last one for a better picture. We hope to go there again with time to hike down to the bridges and also do some of the other hikes available. There weren't many people there and it was perfect weather. Ahhhh... the scenery. Then we headed off and spent time at the stone place looking at what they had available and getting loaded with what we came for. Very beautiful stone and nice people. Then we headed out and were able to get to Arches National Park with a few hours of daylight still available for viewing the amazing scenery there. We stopped at most of the view points and hiked (ran) to several of the arches to take pictures. It is another place we need to head back to with more time to take it all in. When it got dark, we drove on to Green River and spent the night and the next morning headed home seeing more amazing scenery en route. Now my Spring Break feels worth while!
